How customers sign up for our texts
MAS Mail & Print Center texts customers only about something they are doing with us, and only when they ask. Consent is never required to buy or book. Here is every way a customer says yes, with the exact words they see.
What we text
- A receipt for a purchase, asked for at the counter.
- A secure link to pay what is still owed on the customer's own order, asked for at the counter.
- A notice that an order is ready for pickup, chosen at checkout or at the counter.
- Confirmation of an appointment, or a change to it, chosen when booking.
We never send marketing or promotional texts. Every text names MAS Mail & Print Center and ends "Reply STOP to opt out."
1. At the counter: receipts and payment links
The cashier asks, "Would you like your receipt (or payment link) by text?" If the customer says yes and gives a mobile number, the cashier enters it and must tick "The customer asked for this text". Our system refuses to send without that tick, and records the consent with the time and the register.
The sign at the register reads:
Get your receipt or payment link by text from MAS Mail & Print Center. Just ask the cashier. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Terms: mashub.net/terms Privacy: mashub.net/privacy
2. Booking online
On www.mashub.net/book, an optional box, unticked when the page opens. Only bookings with the box ticked get texts.
"Text me about this appointment"Optional. MAS Mail & Print Center will text this number about this appointment. You don't have to agree to book. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Terms · Privacy
3. Order-ready texts at checkout
At checkout on www.mashub.net, for orders picked up at the store, an optional box, unticked when the page opens:
"Text me when my order is ready"Optional. MAS Mail & Print Center will text this number when your order is ready for pickup. You don't have to agree to order. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Terms · Privacy
4. Orders and appointments by phone or in person
Staff ask, "Would you like a text when it's ready?" or "Would you like a text about your appointment?" and switch texts on only if the customer says yes. Both switches are off by default.
- On the order: "OK to text". With it off, no order-ready text is sent.
- On the appointment: "Text the customer about this", off every time the booking panel opens.
Stopping texts, help and costs
- Msg frequency varies. How many depends on the customer's own orders and visits.
- Msg & data rates may apply.
- Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
- Help: call (815) 505-2509 or email info@mashub.net.
- Mobile numbers and opt-in data are never sold or shared for marketing.
